mother

by senn

there is no mise-en-scène, .. woman didn't know she was pictured, .. I didn't know who she is, .. that was pure coincidence, .. face is slightly post-processed in order to preserve her anonymity ..

The most natural act in the world. Well seen and captured hidden in the bushes as if doing something shameful

It's quite beautiful, even if I am torn over the mountain of moral issues that this raises
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Which?

A very good photo - even if the photographer did not ask the mother for permission to take it. Looking at her attitude one cannot help thinking she would have given it. She does not give the impression of being bogged down in the torments of the denial of all that is natural, has always been so, and thus should remain.
