It's only just sunk in that the Hoya is an M42 lens! Manual operation is good for you! Lovely shot - as always!

Andrew: how would you think about adding some of your fine landscapes to the Geograph collection?

While many of the images uploaded to Geograph are routine records of pubs or petrol stations, wind-farms or electicity pylons, there is also a good proportion of beautiful photographs of landscapes and buildings. Yours would be a valuable addition.

The only downside for you might be the copyright conditions: images on Geograph are covered merely by the Creative Commons Licence. Would this bother you?

An afterthought: looking closely at the detail in the distance, I think that the image is rotated 5 degrees anticlockwise from the horizontal. That certainly helps the composition, by keeping the left-hand hillside down a bit. Perhaps you could have got away with a degree or two less rotation?
