Feeling soulful

The background may not be to everyone's taste, i did remove it at one point but decided i preferred it this way.

With respect, Maria, I think the overall effect just too gloomy and opaque for the lovely, luminous subject matter. I guess you were aiming for an antique feel, though, and it certainly has that.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Maria, with the other portraits, I already know and love this young lady.

Therefore I can look at this shot on its own merits - not as a portrait but as a picture.

I like it very much and if publishers are looking for a cover for one of the Bronte sisters books .... look no further.

Thank you all for looking and for the kind comments, Andrew i appreciate your words but this is not a "portrait" of Meghann as such, more of an emotion and feeling, 'tis gloomy i agree but this was what i was trying to convey

I love it Maria, Not every photo has to be of a smiling face and as a teenager I am sure she is full of every emotion, you have portrayed it really well.

Best wishes Trixie
