Wow, that's one of the best images I have ever seen in this gallery, everything about it is just superb. I have a thing about taking shots of water, specifically with shutter speeds (too slow you lose all detail and too fast you lose all atmosphere and sense of movement), This one nails it.

** I find a shutter speed of between an 1/8th and 1.5 seconds (depending upon river flow rate and angle of view) works well in general for giving a sense of duration of time / flow / detail in the micro currents. Eddies often move slowly in their circular motion so 2 to 3 seconds can work

Thank you very much indeed It reminded me of the spin of a the central core of a galaxy, as one sees in animations in astronomy documentaries! Delightful to observe such things.
