Amsterdam canal
by Blaze
The impression I had of Amsterdam is wonderful clean lines, beautiful varied architecture, leaning buildings, canals and boats, and of hundreds and hundreds of bicycles. So much to photograph !

Thank you Nuri, Paul, Trixie and Giulio. I loved Amsterdam - so much to see once you were away from the shopping streets ! There wasn't nearly enough time and the weather was very flat and dull. But the bright colours and wonderful architecture made up for it !

This looks fabulous. Could be used to advertise Amsterdam.
All the various colours fit. The whole scene has a slight pastel look. What lens did you use?
This great city. I have been there once, but it did nowhere as good the as your picture.
Great shot

Thank you, Horst !
I used the DAL 18-55 kit lens and a free software "Luminance-hdr". The light was very dull and flat most of the time which is why I have tried to liven the photos up with this software or use of a texture.
