You're supposed to photograph it not paint it ! Quite a stunning result, whatever.

Thank you all for your comments, they are much appreciated.
Malc - I combined textures with the seascape and put the oil refinery in with reduced opacity. I used a brightness & contrast adjustment layer, some cloning and a little sharpening.
