The slow lane

I've set the subject for the current Weekly Competition - Depicting Age.
As an example of the sort of thing possible here's one I did in Glasgow about 10 years ago, on a Pentax Z1 with FA 28-80 zoom lens. The film would most probably have been Fujichrome or possibly Kodak Ektachrome both of which I used a lot in those days. The image was converted to digital on a Nikon scanner.

Far from home... That's the first thing I thought as well, he really seems to be slow and isolated and that enhances the idea the title reveals. A good compo altogether!
