That's so sad. Wish I could post some shots of the Lightnings that I took back in the 70s.
Further to the north lies the former USAAF base of Goxhill where I took some photos in 1979. I actually have some scans of those shots but they would hardly be of interest to anyone here.

Most atmospheric and a little confusing at first until I spotted that the light was coming from the side of shot.
