Fish-eye flowers
by smudge
Some miniature daffodils and other spring bulbs. 8mm lens used for depth of field rather than fish-eye effect. Horizon fairly level to keep visible distortion at a minimum.
K3 + Samyang 8mm
(the EXIF incorrectly says the focal length was 35mm)

I'm not great at manual focus myself but with the 8mm lens the DoF is so great I can cope with it. I imagine the 14mm would be ok as well. I have the Samyang 85mm/1.4 but my hit rate with that wide open is not so good - the Dof is paper thin so focus has to be spot on.

Thanks smudge. I'll bear that in mind when I'm in a buying mode again.
