Torbay Tornado

New build steam locomotive No. 60163 'Tornado'is captured here on 10th July 2011 passing Langstone Rock, near Dawlish Warren.
It is seen in its' new Brunswick Green livery, having previously carried LNER apple green with BR lettering.
She seems to be making easy work of the load as there is not much exhaust being produced.
The train is one of a series of weekly Sunday day trips from Bristol to Kingswear on the Dart estuary.
Dawlish Warren station is in the background and the coast path which extends from here to Teignmouth is in the right foreground.
I am amazed that the Health & Safety brigade have not closed off this path as it is about a 20ft drop to the beach and there is only a low wall between the path and the railway line. Long may it remain open, I say.

'The Railway Magazine' whose editorial Paul Jay referred to in another thread, concluded that despite some debate they would continue referring to the colour as Brunswick Green, so I am following them.
