Stokesay Castle
by sandinista
Stokesay Castle is one of the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor houses in England. Set in peaceful Shropshire countryside near the Welsh border, the castle, timber-framed gatehouse and parish church form an unforgettably picturesque group. It is currently in the guardianship of English Heritage and is a Grade I listed building.

Great colours, Jim. It is a wonderful place. When my son was younger we used to stop off here on the way to North Wales.
Best wishes,
Andrew
