The biggest bunker of the Ligne Maginot. Kids and I were very impressed as you walk about 2.5 km through these tunnels and it still smells like they left it last week.
Was a bit hard to take - still have no tripod and I didn't want to use a flash and the K20 is not the Numero Uno in low light conditions - so this is not an HDR

Never a train when you need one! Further to the north is the Belgian fort of Eben Emael, part of the defences of Liège. Before visiting it might be best to read the story of how German forces took control of the fort with very little loss of life. Brilliant tactics! The fort is open twice a month during 2013.
