Derelict Compo

by nonur

Municipality of the city of Konya is carrying out a comprehensive restoration and innovation program. The framework of the project includes the reshaping some of the squares and restoration of old houses. Many of the irreparable houses or those which are of no historical interest are being demolished. I intent to take the opportunity to photograph some of the old buildings and their architectural details as time allows. So, some of the photographs that I will upload should be considered in this context. I hope I can manage to take some decent shots and not to bore you with my uploads. This one seems to be one of the buildings that will be demolished. I will from now on add the phrase "Konya Project" to my uploads related with this event to let you know.

Thank you all for the interest shown to my previous uploads some of which were part of this personal project!

I think you're very wise to take photos of these buildings before they are demolished, and I find these shots very interesting. So keep them coming
The techniques, stonework and woodwork are always interesting to compare with later work !

Very well framed. I love the subtle colours and textures here, Nezih.
Best wishes,

If you have the light Nezih why not try a hand-held HDR on some of the buildings? They make excellent subjects, as you've shown.
