Mullheim Roof
by GIULIO57
I was coming back to Italy after a training course in Germany, Dassel. I had a free one-day holyday while going back home. So I stopped in Mullheim, looking for an hotel. I had my camera with me when I looked at this “coloured and nice building”. Beautiful colours enriched by a warm light due to sunset. The owner of the house noticed me while looking for right lens and compo. He was surprised while I asked him for taking a few piccies of his home. This picture and another one named “Mail Box” still remind me of that man and his surprised expression. I do like great simplicity (minimalism?) in my photos: a few lines and shapes, a few tones. This house and its roof were useful elements for this purpose. Camera PENTAX LX on tripod. PENTAX SMC K-mount lens 24 mm. Manual exposure. ISO 100. Kodak Elite Chrome Slide 100 scanned on EPSON. Hope you like it after boring words above!….By the way date is Nov. 2001”.
