The Bathing House
by tyronet2000
The Bathing House, near Howick Hall was built as a cottage in the 18th century and altered in or around 1840. It was used by the Grey family of Howick Hall as a changing room. Steps were cut into rocks leading from the house to a quarried out rock pool.
