Dartford Crossing
by Mag07
One of the tall ships bidding farewell to London at the end of the Easter weekend. A rare time when I find the 55-300mm lacking. It's fantastic on the K1 in decent light, but come evening, it visibly holds the camera back at higher ISO, even as little as 800.

How curious that the bridge seems to have its own yellow/grey sky. I was quite baffled at first by this anomaly, looking at the thumbnail. Even after opening it up, I thought I was looking at two half-frames of a film strip. Or am I the only one?

That's a cracking combination of mood and a blazing sky. So dramatic.

Thank you all for the comments, it was a very lucky gap in the clouds; it did take a bit of re-positioning along the bank to get it perfectly aligned with the bridge

You did so well there Magdalena, especially lining up that glorious sky, a photographers eye!
