Your trip to Dyrham was fruitful Andrew. There's good depth of focus, the corridor provides a wonderful lead-in to the main room and the figure is perfectly placed against the window.
Did you know the superb film The Remains Of The Day was filmed there.

Super shot and processing, how do you manage to lose the other visitors, I never seem to be that lucky ( or I'm not patient enough)

Special atmosphere captured. Can't explain it but it crosses divides.

It is a problem and you do have to wait a while. I could have got this shot without the chap in it but he sort of added to the mood, so I left him in.

Best wishes,

Very pleased you did not wait for him to leave Andrew - he makes the shot for me.
Almost feels like a still from a film - and I want to see the rest of the film
Excellent
