Superb capture Stan, you must have polished them for to occasion, the light is fabulous. I remember these lessons with fondness, never produced any thing anywhere near this quality though

Thanks Malc. I much preferred metalwork to woodwork mainly because nothing useful was produced in woodwork except a clothes horse, now long gone. I have a slide bevel somewhere in a toolbox and had to pay 2pence old money for the material (steel). No idea how much it would cost to purchase from a shop now

....Price in Italy is expensive....items older than me of 1 year.....and they will be alive for 58 years yet. This is difference between metal and meat (that is metal without an "L")

Lovely rich tones there Stan and not a bad bit of metalworking either - nothing I made has survived this long.

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Thank you Giulio and Carl for the kind comments. they have certainly outlasted the school which I believe is now a community centre and other offices

The lighting's right, the tone is right, the compo is right
(almost as good as your metalwork).
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you for the kind comment Maria. Maybe they will make an appearance on Flog It or the Antiqued Road Show.

I remember copperwork! Still have a serviette ring which is in use. Also made an ashtray - but that has long gone! Nice image Stan!

Thank for the kind comment Andy. I seem to recall a hexagonal serviette ring but not sure why I don't have one. Perhaps missed school and so missed that project

Hexagonal sounds nice; mine was annular with curled out edges!
