Frosted Stem
Really like this 'frosted' look on these stems...adds a bit of texture.

A B+W version of the same image would be worthwhile, IMO.
Cannot but agree with your assessment, prsjnb.
Nicely done! Framing and cropping works for me as does the predominance of yellow and green tones. Thanks for the enthusiasm guys.
I've done a mono conversion...not totally happy with it as i think it lacks impact compared to the colour even with a bit of further tweaking from the balance I settled on.
I may post tomorrow...not sure yet.

thanks for this, as a newbie to all this i always seem to take flower pics 'face on' this has shown me how good this angle works
