That's a much better crop!

I understand your approach to my cropping. I cropped the first image to give some variation within the frame, viz. the crop creates "shoulders" in each of the four corners. Cutting off the top & bottom portions forces the viewer to get involved by imagining the pencils continuing on with their outward thrust. As soon as I make a few adjustments, I will be posting the "pack" of pencils on a black ground, and showing the entire pack in its circular form. But to my mind this will be more contrasty/vivid, but a less energetic photo than my first posting.
