Cromwell climbing

by pgweber

Ex BR 4-6-2 No. 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' forges south out of Sheffield with 'The Cheshireman', a day trip from Cleethorpes to Chester.

She is having to work hard against the 1 in 100 gradient because Sheffield (like Rome) is set amongst 7 hills!

Thank you Stephen for looking in and leaving your kind comment.

The sight of a steam engine working hard, making lots of noise and steam still causes the hairs on the back of my neck to stand on end, hence I do not tire of such subjects.
