OH!! Love this shot. Very hazy, romantic almost. Too bad about the window frame on right side and what appears to be glare on the left. But over all, really like this picture.

Cheers,

Stephen

What a cheek!

Can't see your rack, Ron.

Seriously though, you've added something extra by capturing in more gloomy weather, heightening the sense of desolation. Everyone and their dog was out on the day I walked up the mountain.

Regards,
Peter

p.s. I'll PM you with address for postal order for use of title.

Thanks guys. Stephen, I suppose I could have taken more time and cropped the shot and improved it over all. Hi Peter, I didn't mean to affend, I thought it funny that we had almost the same subject. However I do yield to your better picture regards Ron

I hope you rode up the mountain in front of a steamer and not a diesel!

Maybe we can start a thread for pictures of 'Snowdon Shed'?

I might do 'Compton Bay 2' tomorrow, to compare mine with 'MeanMachine's' stunning shot.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter, Unfortunately we rode up ahead of a diesel, not the same aroma! Perhaps thats a good idea to collect all 'Shed' pics could be interesting. I pictured the diesel units earlier I called it Twin Trains 11 & 12. regards Ron

But Ron, wouldn't the "improving" and "cropping" change the picture in relation to the story behind it? Don't the three items I mentioned transfer the whim of the photographer? Both the picture and the information given provide, dare I say, a wonderful piece of "art".

Regards,

Stephen

Yeh you could be right Stephen my wife has the same 'eye' as you, she does the oils, acrylics and the arts & crafts ... and I'm the engineer with no artistic prowess (so she says?) thanks for your comments, much appreciated, by us both, regards Ron
