Nice work. I always think these old wrecks are better in mono, more atmospheric.

This version certainly has more 'punch' giving it the more 'commercial' look but I still like the atmosphere generated by the more subdued first version.
As someone said on local radio today "Art is not about what is on the picture but more about the impact of what the viewer sees!"

Yes this one for me too... love the composition on this... the foreground takes you in towards the boat, which takes you back out towards the clouds, which take you out of the frame top right... really well put together...

I definitely prefer this one, better range of tones.

I remember seeing these boats when I visited Mull in March this year. I guess I missed the opportunity though!
