Walking in the Mist

by iangilmour

Last week our local canal, the Rochdale Canal, was bathed in sunshine and mist so I grabbed my camera bag and set off walking with my partner Sheila. Much to my dismay, when I opened my camera bag, I had brought the wrong camera with an old lens on to protect it. I could have kicked myself. This was the only decent shot I could manage.

Very nice photo taken with the wrong camera! ...What would it have been like with the right one?

Nothing amiss with that one!

The old camera and the wrong lens did a really good job. Keep making such mistakes !

Super shot. I'd keep the lens on...
Best wishes,

Andrew

Very atmospheric - a superb shot even if it was the 'wrong' camera.

Very nice, don't know what the wrong camera means, I'd be tempted to keep using it...

Many thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. The lens was an old sigma manual focus lens and I couldn't quite focus properly because of the mist.
Kind regards

This is just superb.
Lovely atmosphere.

A picture like this did neither have a wrong camera nor a wrong lens.
