Good one. The right stuff. A good photo presents reality differently. Surprizes us, sensitizes us, makes us see otherly, makes us react. Offsets, diverts, extracts. A whole list of things. It is not just flat first degree information. All that is - of course - totally open to discussion. Whatever the case, this photo has a lot going for it. And was a perilous undertaking. And the question arises: "Who tied him to the rails? And, if so, why?" But he kept clutching and using his Pentax and, finally, as we well know: "With one bound, our hero was free..."
