Blue Tit

by Blaze

One of my first attempts at birds - a lot harder than I thought it would be to get them in focus.

Thank you Nuri. It's nowhere near as sharp as I would have liked despite using a tripod. Handheld shots were catastrophic !!!

Very good capture of a fast moving subject, well done. I find the sharpness more than acceptable and the exposure spot on, lovely colours.

Nice shot Sally, i think it's lovely, sometimes i have captured the birds better handheld actually, i take loads, usually on manual and continuous shooting then delete the ones i don't like, and usually end up with about two that are o.k. out of about 50

Thank you, Maria. I've started using continuous shooting but why should I find handheld birds so much more difficult to keep in focus than handheld butterflies ??? Practice, I suppose !
