Hedge in full bloom

Our neighbour planted a new hedge 3 years ago, our side has the sun on it most often and although there was some flowering present last year it has truly blossomed this spring. There are so many insects, particularly bees and those beautiful little blue butterflies often seen in pairs, it's an unexpected pleasure.

The gentle natural colours of the green leaves and white/yellow flowers may seem like the proper choice for this type of image, but converting to monochrome with a little tweaking here and there produces a "look" I'm happier with. This is definitely better viewed large!
