Dundee is the home of Desperate Dan and other characters from the comics printed in that city. Here he has pride of place in the city centre where he joins shoppers for a stroll.
There's been a lot of debate recently about photographers being hassled by police and security guards when snapping in public places. There were several police on duty here but no one took any notice of me snapping away.

Fantastic shot. It even makes me want to go out and by a good wide angle lense.

Thanks for your comments.
Jacki, the mono is better than the colour original for two reasons. The street was busy and cluttered and I had to do a lot of cloning out to simplify the composition and in colour you can see the joins more. Also the day and the colour in the street was drab. It just works better in B+W.

I like the B&W. The composition does all the talking like any great photo. Nice clean up as well.
