Whitby Harbour from the Abbey
by tyronet2000
Last shot before being told tripods were not to be used in the graveyard, a health and safety issue.

Love the mood. You can almost see the Demeter coming in from under the blood red sky...
Come and see the beautiful things I see in the ordinary world.

Nice one Stan - missed this when you first put it up.
in some places tripods are an 'elf and safety issue until you part with money in the right direction, then they suddenly become instantly safe...

Nice shot... moody blues... and pinx!
you'll have to get yourself one of those Manfrotto walking poles...
useful all round... especially on the climb up to the Abbey...
"she who must be obeyed" bought me a Leki Stick that can monopod...
but it is really too short at full extension...
and it took an age to remove the handle and put the camera on....
which they have corrected on the new versions....
so I bought a cheap Chinese walking monopod... all of 10€ from Amazon....
works a treat!

Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...

I missed this too Stan, what a lovely shot, just that little hint of pink on the water makes a restful image and time to go home and reflect.
