Brooke: The Muse of Music - Ukulele 2
by Wildwood512
Second in the Series of Brooke and her Ukulele, which she has named Humphrey after the actor, Humphrey Bogart. Apparently, she names all of her instruments after actors/actresses! Go figure! Her favorite genres of music include jazz, pop, soul and blues. She and her band all have full time jobs and they do gigs for fun!
I chose the word muse to add to the title because I thought it's meaning was so apropos.
Muse: a woman, or a force personified as a woman, who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist.
Here is a link to Brooke's Facebook page if you are interested in hearing her sing. This video is a solo of Brooke with her guitar, named Monroe (after none other than Marilyn Monroe) The audio is good & clear.

I always think of George Formby when I see a ukulele. Brooke doesn't look a bit like him, though...
Very nice picture with interesting and effective processing.

Hi Donna
Another lovely shot.
It would seem appropriate that I repeat the title I gave to my Grey Owls pic....
"Here's lookin at you kid !"

Talented lady, hopefully she will gain the attention she deserves. Both photos are quite artistic in their own right , so well done.
