One of the first steam specials of the year in the East Midlands took Ex GWR 4-6-0 No 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' on a circular tour from Tyseley to Leicester, Long Eaton, Burton-on-Trent and back to Tyseley today.
Another challenging shot with bright steam and train sides in shadow so I used 15-20% lighten shadows/darken highlights in PSE4.
Shot with K10D+16-45 as a PEF at ISO400 f6.7 @ 1/750 at 36mm.

Thank you for your generous comments, Andrew.
Hope you enjoyed the sight of a "Great Western" engine.
Slightly different to my usual views as I found a level crossing rather than an over-bridge to shoot from.

"The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE."
