A Rusty Resting Place.

Whilst taking shots of boats and nets etc. at the marina in Fuengirola, Spain, this little fellow landed on the rusty pole which was cladded in blue fishnets. I managed to take a couple of shots before he went on his way.

Fabulous shot. Thanks for sharing this photo which plays brilliantly with a number of "V" angles, and exhibits an extraordinary feeling of depth. The "posing" of the critter at the very end of the metal piece is a master stroke. Also love the dreamy unfocused and understated colours of the background. Finally, those two red bulbous eyes rivet the attention. Their reflective surface, sharply caught, is the icing on the cake. Like a lot.
