potting on

My huge acer sheds thousands of seeds every year, many of which germinate in heaps wherever they get blown. I raise them each year because it is a fabulous sight every autumn and people always want them
This was pre focussed on the pot rim with the camera on a tripod and the timer set to 12 seconds so that I could get back to the job - (and I hang the lens cap over the viewfinder to stop light getting in there to muck up the exposure)

It isn't difficult -- they do it all for you
