Robins and Blackbirds I love. This one has loads of characterisation in it's face. Love the surrounding subdued light/darkness and that soft light enhancement on it's front. Even softer on the greens of the twisted willow/hazel?? Caught light in the eye too. Great shot.

Thank you Martin, we actually had some sun this day which was to the left as you can see and shone perfectly on the bird, it was shot in RAW and the darkness surrounding is some pp work to add a little atmosphere, so no not any lighting.
