I do agree - a very evocative and beautifully coloured shot.
Reminds me of early morning fishing expeditions.

One of the best I've seen
You had better be quick and remove this image from public gaze and send a print to Sotheby's for auction !
On the basis of a recent Forum thread this image must be worth several $millions !
Best regards
Peter

Such delicate lighting and subtle tones. This is landscape photography at its very best.

I know, I think it's just one of those scenes that looks like that due to the lie of the land and the way the light falls. Being level is one of my things and this has been minutely self scrutinised many times.Delightful scene!

Very nicely captured. Real feeling of the early morning.
I think the perceived lean is due to the water edge on the right not being the horizon and the overhanging branch. As already mentioned, it is right but just seems out because of the other things in the scene. Nature can't be relied on to give easy lines but does give wonderfully subtle shades for us to try and capture, like you have here!

I've noticed this effect in other images. They are quite level but the direction of the ripples can throw your eyes.Delightful scene!

It's a most wonderful image and the sort of shot to aspire to.
