Well captured, I would like to see one again. Its a shame the light wasn't in your favour so as to do real justice to such a beautiful bird.

Yes, the light was indeed terrible ! I took some earlier in the day which showed off the beautiful colours far better, but unfortunately the bird was much further away.
It's the first time I've seen a male redstart - so much more striking than the females which seem to be more abundant here.
