What a beautiful portrait. I agree about the hand, if only the image was shifted downwards a small amount it would be just about perfect.

Poise and a comfortability inside herself is that quality which emanates from this extraordinary image.IMO, you own the image, crop it where you like it. If a viewer likes the crop as much as you do, fine. But that is secondary to your choice. Finishing an image is a surprisingly heavy burden. You might as well finish it for you. Museum quality as is. tg PS, I'd have cropped it a touch differently. You wouldn't have like it.

Personally I would crop a little off the sides (except bottom) to bring body and head nearer to frame.
