Orange Gerbera,
by trixie
A large orange Gerbera from a bouquet of flowers, I have never had any success photographing this flower, in the past I can never get the focus sharp enough I have tried again with this one and tidied it up in picnik.

Hi Trixie, nice colours on this.
I notice you've shot this at 30mm, were you very close to the flower ? You may have got closer than the lens' minimum focusing distance. What lens were you using ?
Regards
George

George has a point Trixie, if you stepped back a little it would have been in better focus and then you can always give it a crop, it's worth trying because it's a nice shot.
