Not sure what is going on here. Unusual settings but great composition (maybe clone the stray instrusion) and interesting effect on the foreground - not sure if all down to depth of field. It works though.

It's different and it works. Not sure about removing the stray bit of tree - it stops your eye sliding off the image

Really unusual treatment, but works particularly well with the landscape. Very striking.
