Nice composition and the colours and overall 'feel' are quite good from a compact. Its very refreshing to
see some photos of Tenerife that don't include beaches and bars.

Thanks Karlo. There are compacts and compacts... I've owned several over the years but the MX-1 is something special.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Well, I've been thinking along the same lines for some time now. I don't think I'll be first in line for the new Pentax full frame camera. I think if you never print large or crop heavily then the MX-1 is just fine for producing images to be viewed on a computer screen.

Superb image, lovely work, my friend has an iPhone that takes better pictures than i can even after setting everything up, very frustrating!
