I try this type of shot every time I'm in woodland but it's not easy to create the right combination of composition, mono-processing and the lovely "lead in" look. Simply Superb

This works so well. Mono and structure. The first thing that went through my mind was, 'Are these Ents?' Apologies for that, but I blame Tolkien and I'm also a writer which is my excuse.

Such a well deserved POTW.
