Congratulations on being chosen as photo of the week, it is well deserved and I think almost inevitable!

Apart from what has been said already, what strikes me about this shot is that it has been taken at exactly the right tome of day, just enough residual light in the sky to make it interesting, but also enough darkness to make the image stark and make the lights the focal point.

There's a guy on the Facebook Pentax group called Henry Mariusz who takes wonderful shots of NYC. He now seems to have a challenger!
