Luna

by Spad

Taken on Sunday night. This is a stack a of 20 images. Stacked and processed in Pixinsight, then PP'd in PS and TopazAI Denoise.

Shot with my K3 attached to an SVBony SV503 102ED Rerractor Telescope with a focal length of 712mm at F7. It also had a x2 Barlow which gave a focal lenght of 1424mm at f14. It was all mounted on a Sky Watcher EQ6R Pro EQ Mount. I also used an UV/IR Cut filter.

Surpasses the beautiful photographs from the early 60s from my Children's Brittanica encyclopaedia and the few they gave, were top drawer prints. Excellent work Spad.
No disrespect and this is an after thought , is there a hint of magenta, would it be better in a neutral B@W

No.... because the moon is not B&W. The Apollo astronauts said it was more brownish than anything else, with hues of differents colours thrown in!

Also thank you all for your kind comments!
