The late afternoon sun offered a nice glow around her and showed off her overshot jaw, but she doesn't care.

Nicely done. I like the warm conversion. The cloning wasn't too visible (until you mentioned it ) Slight burnt out highlights but to be honest they probably don't matter too much here as the eyes are such an attention grabber. Something to watch out for next time though.

Thanks Tim, i tried to lose the burn out but lost the affect of the pic. so had to leave it as it was.

The light was used, perfectly. Wonderful dog portrait work,indeed. I liked that too much !!!

Lovely photo Mara, shes so lovely, I love the close up and the side on profile, it works well in warm tones. Cheers Trixie, ps, Mike has bought me a Pentax K-X DSLR for my birhday got a lot of learning to do now,

Beautifully captured Maria, I think people could pay a lot of money to a professional photographer and it wouldn't be much better than this.

Nice portrait. I like the usage of the lights and the composition and the highlights aren't disturbing in my opinion. I didn't observerved the cloning issue until you mentioned it in the description.
