Looking up

I was struck by the colours against the snow of this little group of ski tourers. They were looking up at where there had been a recent avalanche !
I found snow surprisingly difficult to photograph....

I also agree. It's a shame about the foreground obstruction, I would like to see the full length of the skiers down to their skis, but I suspect there's nothing you could have done about this.

The foreground obstruction was where the ground rose up between me and the skiers - it was a question of snapping the moment ! In fact, they didn't have their skis on and I imagine they were talking about the route they would take - they'd been fiddling about with skins just before I snapped them.
