The flow of the clouds is the high point of this image Karl but the image seems to lack punch. A little more colour saturation & perhaps a little more contrast might give this the impact it needs.

I too, like the sense of width and the sharpness in the image. I beg to differ from Ian though as I like the colour, but you are hampered a little by the shadowy foreground.
The aspect ratio adds interest too.
I would be quite interested to see what you can do by cropping out the shadowy area (but inevitably changing the viewpoint a little).

Can't concur with Ian on this one as, when I first saw the shot, I though it had appropriate levels of saturation and contrast! Whatever blows your skirt up!
I'd be quite pleased if it was mine.

Thanks to all for the comments
Ian I think that the conversion for the web has lost some of the contrast and saturation I have printed at 16"x8" and the print has more contrast.
Thanks again for looking and commenting

karl, i like the dynamics of cloud versus bridge but i wonder if we could have had more sky, less beach? im not a rule of thirds type the pic needs something more to give it some umphh....the pieces are all there, just some tinkering i think! cheers gene
