Andrew,

You have the oddest collection of lenses!

And they really work well!

Great shot!

Mac,

Thanks as always. As for the lenses, well, no one could accuse me of being a brand snob. Or extravagant!

Best wishes,

Andrew, I've just looked at your last three gallery posts and I think I have spotted a subliminal theme.

Cold comfort - The faded glamour of a holiday resort past it's best.

Ajar - The worst ever B&B (I stayed in one in Falmouth where an entry in the guest book read: "Incomparable, second only to Whitechapel in the 1890s").

Left Luggage- The dusty suitcases lifted down off the top of the wardrobe once a year.

It's nightmare holidays, isn't it?

OK, just my mischievous interpretation, but each shot has definitely conjured something up for me.

Regards,
Peter

To me, it's always so good to depict the feel of being used or used out, may be it's because I'm old too. Well, I like everyting about this, the framing, stitches, the key, the locker, and the texture... A great shot altogether!

Thanks everyone: glad I struck a chord. I need to move on though and take some "nice" pictures this spring/summer! I've become a bit recession minded of late!

I really like this. You might call it "vintage?"
