It's amazing they don't just all fly into each other but rather they fly according to some relevant rhythm. Great take!

I often wondered that; saw a TV prog a couple of years ago on this and IIRC its a bit a 'follow-my-leader', but they also have incredibly fast reaction times enabling them to respond quickly, thus forming the amazing swirls one sees. As they departed, each group maybe did one 'swirl' and then was gone! It is in the evening before they settle down they spend ages pirouetting.
It's amazing they don't just all fly into each other but rather they fly according to some relevant rhythm. Great take!
