Kettleness, Yorks.

Not of much interest to most of you, more in support of my two-way with Carl (fritzthedog). Anyway, I'm as fascinated by railway archeology as I am with airfield archeology.
Closed in 1958 Kettleness station was on the Whitby to Middlesborough line which followed the North Sea coastline of Yorkshire. These days the building is used by the Boy Scouts.
Not as clear as it could be as it was raining quite heavily at the time the photo was taken.

I love it - but then I've always loved railway buildings too.
I wouldn't change a thing. It's nice to see the buildings live on, even if their use has changed !

Great sharp shot, the rain has enhanced the brickwork wonderfully.
