Jenny
I was entertained by this Wren which sat chattering away as I got nearer to it.

Outstanding, they're normally so shy.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Again a lucky shot, I heard the wrens chattering but couldnt work out where they were. Then I saw this one jumping up and down on a branch about 20ft from me. I wasn't too pleased with the shots to start with' but being RAW I was able to heavily crop and sharpen the best one.
Now I'm especialy pleased after your comments.
Thanks so much
David.

Very well caught - these birds are difficult to photograph and you have done it beautifully.

Great to get the shot but I fear you have over sharpened it which has produced a halo effect around the bird.
Lovely pose and difficult shot to get so congratulations on that.

Tried to reduce halo but it shows on the original RAW so editing only makes it worse. Many thanks for your and everyones comments.

PS
Have used "Pentax Digital Utility" on some similar problems to great effect but it wont work on this.
"Pentax Digital Utility" could be good but its so long winded and with no proper guide you have to be desperate to use it.
